Not dead, just resting

um

anyway, I just wanted to let you all know what'sgoing on in my half of BTG (I haven't really heard much from Tempest so...)

Basically, I'm busy as hell.

Last week I had tou with my school band (basically we just did concerts at schools around the north of Tassie) and in the week coming up I've got lots of stage work with the school, doing more concerts and helping drama kids...

so I haven't really had a chance to do much for this band

I've been trying to write an original song for a while now and... it's getting there, probably.

I have some slightly good news though! I'm getting a camera for Christmas and hopefully, with that, I can get a microphone setup going and finally record some stuff!

Anything recorded right now will just be covers and the like, but I may eventually be able to work something out with my other band member, so fingers crossed.

As for me mocks and homework aren't helping with the whole "YOU HAVE SONGS TO WRITE!" And I'm kinda have a mental block in terms of writing songs because all the Christmas songs I know are screaming at me and so is all the exam info and the Christmas plotting and the "you should get a job thing" so yeah, noisy brain doesn't make song writing easy.

I have read the draft that is on the blogs admin board thingy that Snowy has written and its sounding good. I like it.


For now I'll just say this; we will keep writing! And we'll work on a collaborative performance if we can. I'll hoping to get a computer for Christmas if I can, then I'm hoping to get cubase so that I can get guitar recordings (etc) from snow, add drums from me and then add whoever is doing vocals recording as well so that I can TRY combine them into an actual song for you all to listen to.
